About Newcomer's Newport Beach

The Newcomer's Club of Newport Beach is a social club 
open to all newcomers in Newport Beach, California.
It 
was founded in 1974 and has helped many new 
residents become acquainted with the community and 
foster new friendships.

Moving to a new city or town is a daunting experience.  
You leave behind a familiar home, cherished friends and 
family. 
The Newcomer's Club of Newport Beach is here 
to help you ease into your new life and form new 
friendships.

Our mission is to extend a warm welcome to new residents 
who relocate to Newport Beach, help them integrate rapidly 
into our community and develop a sense of security and 
belonging.

Members may get involved in the Club as much or as little 
as they desire or as their time allows. 
There is definitely 
something for everyone.

Here is a sampling of some of the activites our members enjoy on a monthly basis.

• Fermented Fridays....a club cocktail party that includes members and their spouses only. This event happens on the 4th Friday of each month.  Each month, one of our gracious member opens their doors to the group for a fun evening of cocktails and good times.

• Menu Madness....a fun filled, 2 hour event where members sample wine and appetizers while watching a demo of a specialty dish prepared by on the “demo of the month” chefs. This fun event occurs on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

• Book Club....a lively discussion about a book that members have previously chosen. Book club members then enjoy a salad bar creation made by all of the participants of this group.  Book club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

• Other activities include walking club, lunch bunch, movie madness, 9 hole golf, and day trip to exciting events in the surrounding area.
